16 year old female terrorist arrested in Nairobi

Nairobi - A 16 year old girl arrested for having links to terrorists will be detained for 10 further days.
The girl, whose name was withheld by police over fears of her family being attacked by Kenyans was arrested Tuesday after being accused of being in Somalia for training with the Al Shabaab terror group.
The girl is a student at the Precious Blood High School Kagwe.
Prosecutor Duncan Ondimu stated that the form two student was arrested in Juja town on
Tuesday and will be detained for 10 days.
Her charge sheet read that investigators believe she had been radicalised after joining the terror organisation.
She allegedly disappeared from school in June 2014 and resurfaced earlier this
year, and after resurfacing insisted to be taken to a Muslim School.
" She sneaked back into the country to cause the killings of innocent souls and her associates are at large," Ondimu said.
The girl denied that she had travelled to Somalia.
The incident comes as the country's security forces raise their game to cut off links to terrorist groups that have had a field day in the country in the last few years.
