15 Kenyan musical acts set for free Nairobi concert

13 May 2016, 20:23 Eugene Odanga

Nairobi - As many as 15 musical acts are set for a free music concert in Nairobi.

Never before has a free concert been as enticing as the upcoming Nishow Power Concert, set for Sunday the 15th at the Chancellors Court, University of Nairobi.

The event seeks to create awareness on the importance of getting voters cards and actually coming out on the election days to vote. It intersects music and politics, giving the youth a forum within which they can interact with some of their current leaders and work towards a future where leadership is with the people.

To pull crowds in, the event has a line up rivaling some of the biggest Kenyan events like blankets and wine. It brings to the stage Mazishi Star Khaligraph Jones, his close rival Octopizzo, Kenya’s favourite boy band Sauti Sol, female star Dela, Gospel sensation Juliani, the Sarabi band and Blankets and Wine founder Muthoni Drummer Queen among many others.
