Bungoma - Residents of a village in Banantega area in Mt Elgon sub-County are reeling in shock after a 14-year-old boy beheaded his mother after she allegedly sold his chicken without consent.
According to neighbours, the teenager who is a standard six pupil at Banantega Primary School slashed off his mother’s head Sunday evening after a heated argument on why she sold five of his birds. The woman died instantly.
Masuti Chemasuet, an elder in the area, told journalists that the boy got angry with his single mother after she sold his chicken to raise money for school fees but reportedly squandered some of the cash.
