Nakuru - More than 10 MPs from the rift valley region are planning to ditch the Jubilee party days after its launch.
According to one of the MPs who spoke about the plan, they are dissatisfied with the new party and are ready to decamp to the Mashinani party.
The MP who requested anonymity said that they cannot continue staying in a foreign political house.
He added that they will make the big announcement soon.

“We have 10 members of parliament who have already decided to jump ship and join the Mashinani party and soon we will be making the big announcement that will shock rift valley. Those who think they can force Kalenjins into a foreign outfit will be shocked,” said the MP.
“Soon we will be witnessing an exodus of politicians from Jubilee to Mashinani party because many of us feel that there is where we belong,” he added.
The MP claimed that deputy president William Ruto and the Kalenjin community were shortchanged during the formation of the Jubilee party as the party has its real owners.
“If you want to know that Jubilee has its owners, just look at its name and colours and you will realize that Kalenjins are not anywhere close to owning that party,” he said.
