Lingerie: it’s a man’s kryptonite

12 May 2016, 11:29 By Hayden Horner

He imagined what he would be doing were she
Not a photo, but there in the flesh!

Okay, so it’s not exactly a Shakespearean sonnet about women’s underwear, but the intro limerick gives you an idea about how men view sexy underwear.

Guys (not monks, priests and eunuchs) like sexy, lacy, frilly, skin-baring lingerie and the more it looks like something they can imagine a model wearing, the more they’re going to want you to wear it.

However, some of you lazy ladies are so comfortable in your relationships that you’ve traded in your lusty lace and saucy satin for granny panties, towelling robes and bunny slippers.

But it doesn’t have to be so, because all you have to do is visit one of the many lingerie stores that are popping up around the country.

Admittedly, you may have let yourself go, as tends to be the case in most relationships, but that’s okay, because whether you’re rectangle, inverted, apple, pear, a neat or full hour-glass, or a lean column, the shop assistants at any of these stores will help you bring sexy back to your bedroom.

And in case you don’t know where to start, an online survey revealed the following lingerie is the top-5 that men want their women to wear:

• Teddy – it looks like a bathing suit but is way sexier.
• Camisole and thong – simplicity still works wonders on the imagination.
• Baby-doll –has a slit down the middle and can cover thighs too.
• Chemise – it’s a plain silky mini-dress-like piece, best worn without panties.
• Garter belts – they symbolise virginity… need we say more?

Yes, yes, there is the notion that lingerie is a massive ruse by retailers to make us believe sexy underwear is vital for a good love life. But there are more damaging ways to be fooled into spending some cash.

Besides, if it’s going to set the bedroom on fire again, then why the heck not!

REMEMBER: The bunny slippers have to be replaced with sexy heels to match your new underwear. And please keep them on even when the lingerie has been removed.
