8 ways to get that Friday feeling every day

Ah, Friday’s, how can we not love you? You make us feel so relaxed, you put us at ease and make us forget about our worries, but why can’t we feel that way during the week too?

It’s not that hard and here are eight simple ways on how to get that happy Friday feeling, no matter which day it is.

Make your day eventful

Don’t go through the same tedious routine every day. Why not plan something exciting and eventful that makes it worth coming into work every day.

Whether it’s deciding to go to your favourite store or going to the gardens during your lunchtime. This little tricky will definitely make you feel excited when you wake up in the morning.

Spoil yourself

This may sound expensive, but it’s not. Rewarding yourself after a tough day at the office, or just because you feel like you deserve it, will uplift your day. And it can come in small doses, whether it’s buying something to nibble on, or buying a clothing item you like, or just going for drinks.


You’re stressed  and it’s only the beginning of the week. Don’t fret,all you have to do is just take a moment and meditate. Go to the bathroom, or go to a quiet area in the office and just take a minute to recollect your thoughts, it does wonders to your mood.

Working out

This is a great way to let go of all the stress that’s been building up, as working out before you start your work day can do wonders for your mood. This makes you fired up for your day ahead.

Get a to-do list

We love ticking off items when we’ve completed it and that’s why everyone should have a to-do list. Not only will it remind you of any uncompleted tasks, but once you’ve completed a task, you’ll also have that satisfied feeling.

Turn up the music

Listening to music before a long day at work can do wonders. Listen to upbeat songs that will keep your toes tapping and keep you awake and happy. A good jam always does wonders to start your day off with a bang.


Not only will multi-tasking help you finish your work faster, but it also makes your day go by quickly, as your mind is preoccupied with more than one thing.
