Miss World Kenya loses title, crown after breaching code of conduct

01 August 2016, 11:07

Nairobi - Miss World Kenya 2016, Roshanara Ebrahim has been decrowned after what the Miss World Kenya Office termed as breach of code of conduct.

According to Citizen Digital, Roshanara failed to uphold the code of conduct which expects pageants to manage their private and public life.

However, communication from the event organizers did not clarify what Roshanara did to warrant the disciplinary action.

There have been rumours that the beauty queen was having an affair with Gatundu south MP, Moses Kuria.

When contacted about the love affair claims, the lady dismissed the reports saying that she did not even know Kuria.

According to The Star, Roshanara was set to represent Kenya in this year's Miss World finals in Indonesia on September 30.
