Bongo Star Alikiba to rock Machakos City as Kenyans cross over to 2016

Machakos - Tanzanian singer, Alikiba is ready to rock Kenyans at a crossover party at Machakos People’s Park starting 6.30PM today.

The 'Nakshi Nakshi Mrembo' hit maker arrived in the country on Tuesday to a grand welcome by the Machakos Governor, Alfred Mutua who has widely publicized the end of year concert on social media.

In a Facebook post, Mutua confirmed that all is set for the event.

He said: “The Machakos People's Park's amphitheater is ready for today's amazing New Year Party full of music and fireworks. Welcome and witness the ushering of the New Year in style as you enjoy the music of superstar Ali Kiba and other musicians and DJs.”

Other famous Kamba vernacular musicians will also perform, including Mutemba, Bosco Mulwa and Kithungo Raha.

Entry to the concert is free.
