Blac Chyna has already claimed the Kardashian name

10 May 2016, 14:41

Los Angeles - Blac Chyna has filed legal documents to claim the name Angela Renee Kardashian.

The 27-year-old make-up artist - whose real name is Angela Renee White - got engaged to Rob Kadashian last month after just four months of dating and now she has submitted paperwork in order to protect her identity once they tie the knot.

According to TMZ, who have obtained the documents, Blac plans to earn a living as a "social media celebrity" and party host and offers "advertising services" by "promoting the goods, brands, and services of others", as well as profiting from personal appearances, and making "live, televised and movie appearances" as a "professional entertainer".

Blac and Rob announced a few days ago that they are expecting their first child together.

And it has been claimed they are in talks with E! - who air Keeping Up With the Kardashians and the family's spin-off shows - for their own show chronicling their relationship and their life as a new family.
The network are said to have offered a seven-figure sum to the couple.

However, his family, including sisters Kim Kardashian West, Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Kylie Jenner aren't thought to be overly thrilled about the pair's relationship.

An insider said: "The family found out in the last couple weeks. Rob told everyone separately. They didn't have a big family meeting or anything like that.

"When Rob started dating Chyna, it was like, 'OK, this is a phase.' And when they were talking about the engagement, it's like, 'But it won't last.' But now that there's a baby coming, everyone in the family knows that this relationship has permanence."
