Abductors release kidnapped musician

Yola — A Hausa musician Ado Daukaka, who abducted six days ago in Yola, Adamawa State capital, has been released, reports AllAfrica
Daukaka, who recently accused Adamawa State government officials and elected representatives of corruption, said he was abandoned in a bush near Lafiya-Lamurde village, more than 80 kilometres from Yola.
Daukaka said he was threatened by his armed abductors who warned him against delving into issues that did not concern him.
Narrating the incident, Daukaka said the armed men had claimed to be prospective patrons from Kano, saying they listened to his political song and wanted him to compose a similar song for them
