Nairobi - The Kenya Film Classification Board has warned pornography producers and those in possession of porn material, that they will be arrested if caught, AllAfrica.com reports.
Information director Owiti Olewe said they will be carrying out spot checks, with the help of the police, and those found breaking the law will be arrested.
"The rise in distribution, exhibition and production of pornography and other programmes which depict elements of violence, drugs and alcohol should act as warning signs to the public," he said. He further emphasized that pornography is illegal in Kenya.
