12 July 2013, 18:01

Lagos - Nigerian supermodel Oluchi Orlandi has launched Africa’s version of Tyra Banks’ Next Top Model TV show in South Africa.

Oluchi, who won the first M-Net Face of Africa competition, said she plans to dedicate the next five to 10 years of her life to giving back to the African community and believes the show is a good platform to achieve that.

She also revealed that the primary purpose of the show is to discover beauties across the continent and give them support to establish themselves in the market.

Africa’s Next Top Model will air from October on several Dstv channels.

Oluchi will on be at KICC this Sunday, so if interested models should make their way to see if they can get a chance to compete with the rest of Africa for a modeling career with DNA Model Management in New York.
