Musician still up for pornography charge

Kampala – Musician Desire Luzinda’s case on pornography is still being pursued by government with the Uganda’s ethics committee Minister, Simon Lokodo stating they will not drop the case until due process is followed, reports New Vision.
It was last year that Desire’s ex Nigerian lover, Franklin Emoubor leaked nude photographs of the musician that created waves on social media.

Since then the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) have interrogated Desire and plan to bring Emoubor back to Uganda so they can question him about the leaked photographs.
According to the law, under Section 13 of the anti-pornography; it states that a person shall not produce, traffic in, publish, procure, import or promote pornography in the country. The repercussions of being found guilty gives one a fine not exceeding five hundred currency points and/or prison sentence not exceeding ten years.
