17 January 2014, 12:30

Johannesburg – In a rare interview, Oprah sits down with multiplatinum artist and actor LL Cool J at his home in Los Angeles. Oprah’s Next Chapter: LL Cool J will air on TLC Entertainment (DStv 172), as part of the weekly OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) block, on Thursday, 23 January at 20:10.

The NCIS: Los Angeles star opens up about his career, his sex-crazed youth, his abusive childhood and the night he woke up to find a stranger in his home. He also reveals how he learned to forgive his father after he shot his mother.

After his family join the conversation with Oprah, LL Cool Jay reveals the greatest lessons he feels he has taught his four children and how he gave up his rockstar lifestyle and naughty ways for his family. He also delves into how his marriage made him the man he is today.
