Kenyans mourn Mzee Ojwang’s death

Nairobi - Kenyans are mourning the death of veteran actor, Benson Wanjau aka Mzee Ojwang.

Mzee Ojwang died Sunday evening at Kenyatta National Hospital where he was undergoing treatment for pneumonia.

Mzee Ojwang has been acting for over 30 years and will be remembered for his roles in Vitimbi, Vioja Mahakami, Vituko among others.

He died at the age of 78.

Here are some of the messages Kenyans posted on twitter in his memory:

Raila Odinga: "I am saddened to learn of the unfortunate demise of veteran comedian Benson Wanjau (Mzee Ojwang Hatari) of Vitimbi."
