Cannes - Kenyan and South African filmmakers attending the Cannes Film Festival in France have signed an official partnership to partner in key areas in filming activities in both countries.
The Kenya Film Commission (KFC) and South Africa’s National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) have singled out film co-production, festivals, training and institutional strengthening as areas the two can work in.
Speaking to DSTV at a signing ceremony in the French city, KFC boss Peter Mutie said the two states should work together to bridge the gap between the film industries in Africa, Europe and America.
