Nairobi - The Standard reports Concern is being raised on how the government will raise this years budget deficit estimated to be KES 356 billion.
The 2013/14 budget which was on Thursday afternoon presented to Parliament has increased to KES 1.642 trillion.
According to Parliament's chairman of the Budget &
Appropriations Committee, Mutava Musyimi, Kenya has greatly focused on increasing government expenditure as opposed to
creating surplus and allowing a private sector led economic growth.
