US issues another travel advisory

Nairobi - In the past 18 months 125 people have died in terrorist related incidents leading to the US State Department to issue a new travel advisory to Kenya, Daily Nation reports.
The report dated July 5 is the latest in a series of US warnings, the first of which was issued in May 2003 highlighted the threat of terrorism, and warned that "violent and sometimes fatal criminal attacks, including armed carjacking, grenade attacks, home invasions and burglaries, and kidnappings can occur at any time and in any location, particularly in Nairobi."
The report went on to say that the recent attacks in the capital city Nairobi illustrate "an advance in the sophistication of attacks."
