Tea industry expanding processing arm

Nairobi - Kenya’s tea industry aims to increase their processing capacity by 60 million kilos a year.
They plan to do this by opening four new factories in Kericho, Bomet and Nakuru counties, Business Daily Africa reports.
Kenya had a leaf processing capacity of 370 million kilogrammes in 2012 and a production capacity of 369 million kilogrammes.
