Strikes loom in aviation, power sectors

Nairobi - Possible industrial strike action this week could have a huge effect on the country, possibly leaving passengers stranded and people in darkness, reports Capital FM.
The Kenya Electrical Trades and Allied Workers’ Union (KETAWU) has threatened to go on strike on Wednesday should a meeting that is slated for Tuesday afternoon fail to yield an outcome that favours them.
At the same time, the Aviation and Allied Workers Union (AAWU) workers have decided to embark on a go-slow. They demand better wages and working conditions.
