Nairobi - Boda boda (motorcycle) operators took to the streets on Friday, protesting what they termed as police and city council askaris' crackdown on their business.
Business Daily reports that transport services in Nairobi were paralysed as the operators downed their tools and drove their motorcycles to City Hall where they camped in protest.
The operators defied orders to resume their normal businesses after receiving an address by junior City Hall officers and demanded that Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero attends to their concerns.
