Obama's power plan to benefit Kenya

Nairobi - President Barack Obama on Sunday announced plans by the US government and corporates to fund an electricity-generation initiative In Africa.
The USD7 billion effort to light a total of 20 million homes and businesses, according to Daily Nation reports will see Kenya and six African "partner countries" chosen take part in the five-year initiative.
Tanzania, Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria and Liberia are also included in Obama's "Power Africa" initiative.
