Nairobi - Online buying and selling platform OLX Kenya has warned all its users to be aware of fraudsters who are posting genuine items, but later produce faulty ones or rip-off interested buyers.
Although OLX Country Manager Peter Ndiangú’i was quick to reassure clients that all advertisements posted on the site are intensely verified by an internal audit team before being posted online, Capital News reports.
Ndiangú’i went on to add that users should not give out their personal information such as bank details and should only provide information that is relevant to the transaction.
