Nairobi to have a new face

Nairobi - Plans are underway by the government and various stakeholders to upgrade the Nairobi’s infrastructure to ease traffic congestion and improve the living conditions of the residents.
In a statement to Capital News, Deputy President William Ruto said that he was in talks to find out ways of implementing an ambitious project that will see at least 100, 000 new and modern housing units constructed for the low income earners.
Ruto added that within the next three years, Nairobi should have a new face and the government has already identified development partners with whom they intend to roll out the project in Ziwani, Mbotela, Bahati ,Maringo and other estates in Nairobi’s Eastland’s suburbs.
