Ministries, state departments warned against audit delays

Nairobi - The Parliamentary Accounts Committee (PAC) has cautioned ministries and state departments against audit delays, threatening to impose sanctions on those that do not comply to the directive.
The ministries and state departments have been given upto to the end of every financial year to file their audit reports, The Standard reports.
Speaking during a committee meeting with the Planning PS Peter Magiti, PAC members delayed audits disrupt the budget process.
