Malindi - Deputy President William Ruto has said that plans are underway to ensure that electricity bills go down by 20 percent.
Speaking in Malindi over the weekend, Ruto said that the government will add 280 megawatts of electricity to the national grid, thus ease the electricity burden of both domestic and industrial consumers.
This change is expected to take effect by the end of September, Daily Nation reports.
