Nairobi - Capital News reports that in a bid to improve the road network and connectivity with its neighboring countries, Kenya is scheduled to break ground for the Lamu Port-Southern Sudan-Ethiopia Transport (Lapsset) Corridor in February.Prime Minister Raila Odinga was upbeat about the construction of Lamu Port and the transport corridor through Isiolo, Moyale and Turkana as it will open up development prospects in Northern Kenya, linking it to Southern Sudan and Ethiopia. The East African road network accounts for 80 percent of the regional cargo, thus improving the Northern Corridor that runs from Mombasa to the Great Lakes is crucial in boosting trade and investment within the region. - For more visit Capital News
