KES 800m to be spent on weighbridges

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports more than KES 800 million will be spent by the government to construct modern weighbridges along the Northern Corridor.
According to transport cabinet secretary Michael Kamau, the money will be used to construct high speed weigh-in-motion bridges especially at Mariakani and
Namanga where there has been persistent snarl-ups near the facilities.
The money will be divided between the two stations and the new machines set up in the next two months.
