KES 500 billion lost to wasteful expenditure

Nairobi - The Standard reports government risks losing about KES 492 billion in the 2013/2014 Budget.
According to an accountants forum, the money may be lost through State wastage and flawed procurement contracts.
Thomas Kibua, a senior economist at
the African Development and Economic Consultants said the Government
loses up to 30 per cent of its annual budget on workshops and foreign
