Govt KES 6bn plan for youth jobs

Nairobi - Plans are underway by the government to issue KES6 billion interest free loans to the youth by end of next month if all goes well, The Standard reports.
The Youth Enterprise Development Fund (YEDF) said it will release the money allocated in the Budget to 250 000 youth groups throughout the country by the end of July.
A national secretariat in Nairobi to recruit youths for decent jobs abroad shall also be set up.
