Fly540 increases Lodwar flights

Nairobi - Fly540 Kenya, the region’s low-cost airline, has increased the frequency of flights between Nairobi and Lodwar to meet rising demand.
The company will now have nine flights per week, up from six serving the 632-kilometre route.
Don Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Fly540 Kenya, said the company was pleased that it was are able to offer its passengers greater availability and flexibility on this route.
“Our flights are low cost and offer passengers a more convenient form of transport than travelling by road.
"The new flights reflect the increasing demand for domestic air travel, and Fly540’s commitment to meet that demand,” Smith said.
Previously, Fly540 Kenya, which claims to be the only carrier to offer flights from Nairobi to Lodwar, operated the route once a day, excluding Tuesday.
An additional flight has now been added on Monday, Wednesday and Friday respectively, resulting in two flights operating on each of these days.
Meanwhile, the company has upgraded its website and launched a Passenger Charter.
“At Fly540 Kenya, we put the passenger at the heart of everything we do. We are launching our Passenger Charter to demonstrate our commitment to providing our customers with the best possible service.
"To meet this promise, we need to fully engage and communicate with our customers, and our new website has been designed to help us achieve this goal,” Smith said.
