Nairobi - Tourism stakeholders have been challenged by the Prime Minister Raila Odinga to fast track the full implementation of the Tourism Act to facilitate growth.
In his statement to Capital News, Raila said that the sector can only realize the projected returns when the policies were fully operational to create an enabling environment for tourism which still remains the second largest foreign earner in the country.
The premier went on to add that when the Act and related tourism policies are fully in operation, the target of three million tourists a year and projected earnings of about KES 200 billion annually will not be an impossible dream.
