Emirates links Nairobi with Rio, Buenos Aires

Kenya - According to Capital News reports, Emirates has extended its South American network by linking Nairobi with Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro through its Dubai hub, broadening the airline’s reach across the Americas.
The airline’s inaugural Flight 247 made its first landing at Galeão-Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil before departing for its first onwards connection to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Essa Ahmad Sulaiman, Emirates Regional Manager for East Africa said the new routes linked service to two of the most economically vibrant cities in South America and will not only boost trade ties with Kenya, but will also introduce Kenyan travellers and those from the East African region to Emirates’ route network spanning points across the globe.
