ERC raises petrol price, cuts diesel, kerosene

Nairobi - Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) raised on Friday the maximum retail prices of petrol and cut those of diesel and kerosene for the next four weeks.

Kenya set a cap on prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene in 2010 and lists maximum prices for each area of the country at mid-month and they remain valid for a month.

Below are prices in shillings for Nairobi, released by the ERC, to be in force between August 15 and September 14:
