Nairobi - Equity Bank has been given six months to relocate from its City Hall branch by the county government of Nairobi, because it wants open up a restaurant for the County Assembly members.
In a statement to The Star, Interim County Secretary of Nairobi County Lillian Ndegwa said that the bank will move its City Hall branch in September, as the county government moves to cushion the county representatives who have complaining of lacking a refreshments facility.
The 8,000 square feet space will now house a state-of-the art restaurant and lounge for the Nairobi County Representatives when they are in session at the County Assembly which is next door.
