CBA's Mshwari bags award

Nairobi - The M-Shwari project by Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA) has been honoured by Computerworld Honors Program with the 21st Century Achievement Award in emerging technology for its M-Shwari project, at a gala award ceremony held in Washington DC.
Capital News reports, that the award looks to honour companies that use information technology to promote and advance public welfare, benefit society and business, and change the world for the better are usually considered for the award.
Expressing his delight of the top honours, CBA MD, Isaac Awuondo said that his company was truly honoured to have won the emerging technology award, and that CBA's operations are founded on technology and innovation and it is their belief that M-Shwari will continue to stimulate innovation and growth to the financial services industry.
