Airports in Kenya win top global award

Nairobi - The Jomo Kenyatta International Airport has been recognized internationally, scooping top honours in prestigious global airport marketing awards, Capital News reports.
The Airport was among top winners named in the African heat of the World Routes Airport Marketing Awards 2013, as it bagged the award in the Over 4 Million Passengers category during this year’s awards that fete airports’ route successes, growth in capacity and marketing activities for the year.
Another win went to Moi International Airport in Mombasa that was ranked the most improved airport on the continent in the Airport Service Quality category, which makes it the first time that a Kenyan airport has received the award by the Airports Council International, which recognizes airports that achieve the highest passenger satisfaction rating.
