19 May 2016, 15:23

Accra - A police officer’s sex video is allegedly making rounds on a social media network causing a storm throughout the continent, a report said on Wednesday.

According to Ghana web the nude video of the lady who was identified as Yaa Boakyewaa, a police sergeant, went viral three days ago, with some of her colleagues even saying that she deserved it as she was very rude.

However, Regional Police spokesperson Christopher Tawiah denied knowledge of the video saying that he did not have any idea about it.

The video was reportedly posted on the social network WhatsApp by an unidentified United States of America based woman who had a disagreement with the police sergeant after she had sent nude photos of herself to her husband.

Although the police have denied knowledge of the video, reports have indicated that the matter was reported to the police headquarters and disciplinary action against Boakyewaa has been started.

According to the Daily Guide, Boakyewaa reportedly got wind of her nude video making rounds in the country, thus, prompting her to commit suicide.

However her suicide attempt reportedly failed and is now recuperating in hospital.
