Zim woman held for 'drug smuggling' in India

Cape Town – A Zimbabwean woman has reportedly been arrested at Indira Gandhi International Airport in India as she allegedly tried to smuggle narcotics worth about $96 000.
According to newzimbabwe.com, Dzvetero Mtegwe Mcvee, 34 and her Mozambican companion Macamo Paulo Azarias, 27, were arrested as they tried to board a plane to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The two were found to be in possession of 60kg of Pseudoephedrine, a banned narcotic drug used commonly by youngsters.
India’s Central Industrial Security Force said Mcvee was intercepted at one of the airport’s terminals when her activities aroused suspicion.
