World Bank applauds Kenyan women

Nairobi – In a report titled 'Removing Barriers to Economic Inclsuion' by the World Bank, Kenya has emerged top in the world among countries encouraging women's participation in entrepreneurship, reports Capital FM.
The World Bank's report on Tuesday highlighted the gains made in the Constitution as the biggest contributor to empowering and motivating women to try their hand at business.
Of the 141 countries surveyed, Kenya led the way regarding making the necessary legal changes that eliminates gender discrimination, revealed Sara Iqbal, the bank’s Program Officer for Women, Business and Law.
