Ten year old rapes toddler, killed after caught in the act

Kampala – A father of a 2-year old girl beat her 10-year old rapist to death when he caught the young boy defiling his baby girl  while in the act, reports New Vision.

Police spokesperson, Fred Enanga confirmed that Francis Ochen in a fit of rage beat Simon Okot to death when he caught Okot raping his daughter behind a grass thatch hut.

“Ochen reacted by slapping the boy endless until collapsed dead,” said Enanga while speaking to journalists on Monday at the police headquarters in Naguru.

Ochen is currently being held for murder and will appear in court sometime this week.

According to the annual police crime and traffic reports there has been a 11.2% surge in child related offences meaning the number went up from 6 522 cases in 2013 and now 7 256 in 2014.

The 2014 report indicates the number of various child related offences; child neglect registered 11,791 victims, desertion (3,335), stealing (216), trafficking (220), abduction (771), kidnap (1,146), abuse/torture (1,205), Infanticide (55) and abortion (2,578).
