Lagos - The wives of former Niger PM and current parliament speaker were arrested Wednesday over child trafficking in Niger, Benin and Nigeria.
18 other suspects arrested in the ongoing child trafficking probe have already been charged with various offences, while 13 others have been acquitted.
Young mothers and victims of rape often visit baby factories to sell their unwanted babies to childless couples and wizards, Daily Nation reports.
Most baby trafficking centers in Niger usually operate under the guise of orphanages.
