Nigeria: 25 Inmates in Prison break Re-Arrested

Nigeria - Accoring to the Daily Trust reports, Twenty-five out of the 119 inmates that were freed by gunmen Wednesday night when they attacked the Koton Karfe prisons in Nigeria have been re-arrested, authorities said.
The spokesperson of the Kogi State Command of the Nigeria Prisons Service, Hadiza Aminu, dismissed media reports suggesting that the attack was carried out by the Boko Haram sect in her briefing to the media.
Police Commissioner Marvel Akpoyibo went on to confirm that the attack was by suspected armed robbers to free their detained colleagues, as he dismissed insinuations that the assault was by the Boko Haram sect.
