New cabinet 'a challenge for Mugabe'

Cape Town – Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe is set to
name his cabinet this week, a month after he and his Zanu-PF party were swept
back to power in a landslide victory, a report says.
According to newzimbabwe.com, analysts say the cabinet could
be Mugabe's last as they speculate that he might stand down and let a younger
leader from within his party finish his new five-year term.
Mugabe announced last week through a government gazette that
the newly-elected members of parliament would be sworn in on 3 September, with
the first sitting scheduled for 17 September.
The new cabinet presents Mugabe with a major challenge as he
tries to strike a balance between young and old.
