Cape Town – Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has reportedly urged the country's youth to exploit local economic opportunities to create jobs instead of copying Western cultures.
According to Africa Review Museveni, who recently approved a draconian anti-gay law, said while Western cultures appeared modern and interesting to the youth, African culture was richer in promoting social identity and discipline.
Museveni urged Ugandans to stand firm and abhor some of the Western cultures, especially the "divergent sexual orientation", the report said.
