He also attributed the root of the problem with women who work and are condescending towards their husbands. In turn they are also too lazy to please their husbands therefore leaving their husbands vulnerable to these house girls who ‘soothe them and eventually take over.’
Working women he mentioned also neglect their family duties. Instead he said that the, “married women now waste their time on painting their fingers, plaiting their hair, visiting boutiques, attending wedding functions and their husbands are left in the houses with house maids.”
Speaking to his congregation on Sunday at St. James Church in Buwesa Parish in Busabi Sub county- Butaleja district he asked, “Why do you leave the house girl to do everything in the house, including giving food, taking water for your husband to the bathroom, laying your beds, and you still think you are a married woman?”
He made a call to working women to uphold their matrimonial vows and commitment to their families.
