Eritrea blames Ethiopia for IGAD woes

Nairobi - The government of Eritrea on Thursday blamed Ethiopia for its delay in being accepted to rejoin the Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD).
During a media brief with Capital News in Nairobi, Eritrean Ambassador to Kenya Beyene Russom said that Ethiopia was fighting his country’s efforts to join IGAD.
Russom went on to add that Ethiopia was accusing the country of wrong doing and the other countries were listening to what it was saying, and he regretted that Eritrea was not getting along with Ethiopia.
