Bangui - Central African Republic Prime Minister Nicolas Tiangaye, who was appointed under a power-sharing deal two months ago, said Wednesday he will stay on as premier under the post-coup regime.
"I have been renamed prime minister, the decree has been signed," Tiangaye told AFP.
Rebel chief Michel Djotodia, who declared himself leader after Sunday's coup, had said he would keep Tiangaye as prime minister in his new government.
